USRowing is committed to improving the development and safety of athletes and participants involved in the sport. In conjunction with the United States Olympic Committee (USOC), USRowing has adopted the SafeSport policies. These policies are in place to protect participants from physical abuse, sexual abuse, and other types of abuse and misconduct that can be harmful to youth rowers and other participants.

The St. Croix Rowing Club endorses this program.

SafeSport Awareness Training
Through their partnership with the USOC, USRowing offers free SafeSport training online. This training is focused on misconduct in sport and the measures we can all take to protect athletes. Learning about the six types of misconduct is an important step to recognize, reduce and respond effectively to inappropriate and potential harmful behavior.

Although all SCRC board members are required to take the free USOC SafeSport training, we recommend that all members take it.

Upon successful completion, you will receive a PDF Certificate of Completion and your name will be added to the list of those who completed the program via USRowing.

Send a copy of your Certificate of Completion to Karen H (SCRC Secretary, and cc Alice C (SCRC Safesport,
